Statement

I was greatly influenced by living in the cities of Washington DC, Philadelphia and NYC. Much of my subject matter focuses on the homeless, sports, and architecture of these places.

The Flatiron building is an American Icon and one of the first skyscrapers to be built in 1900. Wanting to capture the building's weight, height and surface, it became one of my subjects. The building's stark black and white characteristics made it a perfect match for the etching process.
