John Walker

About

Born, Birmingham, England, Walker has been awarded the Harkness and Guggenheim Fellowships. He represented Britain at the Venice Biennale. He has taught at the Royal College of London, Yale University, and Boston University and was in Residence at Oxford University and Monash University, Australia. His work is in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Guggenheim Museum, Whitney Museum, MOMA, Hirshhorn Museum, Smithsonian Institution, National Gallery of Art, Art Institute of Chicago, Cleveland Museum of Art, MFA Boston, Museum of Contemporary Art, LA, Tate Gallery, Victoria and Albert Museum, The British Museum, and many others.
